This is the first photograph showing newly born Alexis when he was barely more then a month old.
THIS IS AN ORIGINAL PHOTO (NOT a post card) from 1904 made by His Majesty Court photographers Boissonnas & Eggler.
The His Majesty photographers
in St. Petersburg in 1900 were Hahn, Pasetti, Levitsky, and Boissonnas & Eggler. Most of them had shops in the center of town.
You can find period photo on page 23 of the book ”Nicholas II, The Imperial Family” (last picture) and even the PILLOW is the same on both pictures. |
