Museum rarity, original, double sided photograph of Alexey, Son of Nicholas II.
I think he is around ten years old in the photo, thus I conclude that the photo is 1914.
I am absolutely sure that this was a family photo, because it is a very rare photo, maybe the only one that exists, showing Alexey from front and back.
I think such rare picture would not be given to anybody as a gift, due to its rarity.
From this we can assume that the photo stood on Nicholas’ II desk in his study.
Further more, if it is a family photo, then it must have been cut out by Alexandra her self.
