THIS IS NOT A PRINNT, IT IS A PAINTING
An extremely rare beautiful original watercolor on board by a well listed French artist LIX, Frédéric Théodore (1830-1897), signed lower right, painted around 1895 or 1896 depicting Nicholas, Alexandra, first daughter Olga and mother of Nicholas II Empress Maria Feodorovna.
Because the first daughter of Nicholas II Olga was born in 1895 and F.T. Lix was gone in 1897, I dated the painting 1896-1897.
Excellent condition.
Last 2 photos show similar size but less important and not signed by the artist watercolor that was recently sold in London’s Russian auction.
