A lead crystal wine goblet from the palaces of czar Nicholas II, by the Imperial Glass Factory in St Petersburg, graver Lavr Orlovsky. Made at end of 19th cent. till October Revolution in 1917.
The glass decorated in the 18th century style: the front engraved with crowned double headed Imperial eagle, the reverse - with the monogram 'H A II' for Nicholas II and his wife Alexandra within a crowned medallion surrounded with military trophies. Very minor traces of use, free of any kind of damage.
