A rare Russian Imperial porcelain cup with a view of St Petersburg Stock Exchange made by St Petersburg Private Factory ca 1830s or earlier.
10 cm high and 8.6 cm diameter.
There are letters pressed in the bottom "С.П.Б." (last photo) for Sankt Peter's Burg which is St Petersburg - The City of Saint Peter.
The Stock Exchange, designed by the French architect Thomas de Tomon and built between 1805 and 1810, was inspired by the best examples of Ancient Greek and Roman architecture.
