The Battle of Chemulpo Bay (Japanese: 仁川沖海戦 Jinsen'oki kaisen Russian: Бой в заливе Чемульпо) was an early naval battle in the Russo-Japanese War (1904-1905), which took place on 9 February 1904, off the coast of present-day Inchon, Korea. An extremely rare find, probably a unique piece from Russian - Japanese War 1904-1905. A silver Pen Holder with St George orange and black enamel Ribbon made 1904 in St. Petersburg. This item definitely belonged to a St George award recipient.
Engraving reads: "To the Hero of Chemulpo from National (People's) House of Emperor Nicholas II".
