| 28 ½” H. x 22” W. hand painted by tempera over a wooden board in the first third or middle of 19th century. It is a rare interpretation of Crucifixion with 4 evangelists in the corners, with very rare image of Mother Maria of Akathistos in left upper corner and image of St. Nicholas at right. 2 bronze enamel inserts are in very good condition. The icon is in very good condition too. No restoration, just very light cleaning to enhance the colors was done 10 years ago.
