The Icon was painted over a leaf of gold on a wooden board in kovcheg (recess). This is a very good example of first half of 19th century Nevyansk School of Icon painting. It also has a lot of resemblance with famous at the time Bogatyrev’s (last male name) workshop. The photo before last one, taken from a book “Nevyansk Icon” (Ural Mountains) printed in Yekaterinburg (capitol of Ural), page 47. And last photo fragment shows same school painting and taken from page 132 same book. There are plenty of similarity in Christ images and side angels in all three icons to conclude belongings to Nevyansk School of Icon painting. The icon is in excellent condition.
