The elaborate composition incorporating subsidiary scenes with Birth of Jesus Christ as a main subject. Extremely rare because of such multi-scenes interpretation and high quality of beginning of 17th century painting. Excellent condition. For similar subject, but not as elaborated as mine and has less scences, see lot 183 “Russian Sale” Sotheby’s London 11th June 1997 (last photo).
