Authenticity guaranteed. It is a “hard boiled egg” made by 2 colors of enamel and gold. The egg was a creation of the Faberge maker Vasiliy Soloviev in St. Petersburg 1908 -1917.
I strongly believe that the Romanov Imperial Eagle, which is dimensionally engraved on the egg, means that the egg was made by the order of Cabinet of His Imperial Majesties and presented hence to some dignitary or high level officials by Nicholas II or Alexandra Feodorovna themselves.
