Authenticity guaranteed.
The egg itself without loop and suspension ring is 12 mm or 0.47”, or almost ˝”.
The first very small photo might show you the egg in real dimension, depending on the screen size. I made it to show that the black dot on enamel, 2nd photo, actually invisible on egg.
It
isn’t damage; it is imperfection during the firing of enamel and it is invisible.
Other photos are huge compare to the real size of the egg, just to show you all the details.
The last 2 photos represent a much resent sale at Sotheby’s where a similar egg was sold for $8,600. < BR>
This Faberge egg with diamond and guilloche enamel was made 1899 – 1903 in St Petersburg by Henrik Wingstrom .
The hall mark has 56 (14K) for gold content and assayer mark with 2 Russian letters for Iakov Liapunov who was an assayer in St Petersburg from 1899-1903.
H.W. is a mark (on suspension in one place) of Henrik Wingstrom who worked for Faberge from 1884 till 1917. I made 2 photos of the same mark for easy reading.
Excellent condition.
Also for overseas buyers; I have to charge additional $25 for money transfer or payment by check drawn on foreign banks in U.S. dollars. |
