Born in Loppi, Finland, August Fredrik Hollming became a registered goldsmith in St. Petersburg in 1876.
He first opened a workshop at 35 Kazanskaya Street and in 1900 moved into the Faberg� shop at 24 Bolshaya Morskaya Street.
There he specialized in gold and enameled jewelry, miniature egg pendants, and boxes.
