An
Imperial Presentation hunter cased rose gold pocket watch by Pavel Bure, circa 1900. Since the watch front lid bears an Imperial Russian cipher in a form of a double headed eagle which is made of black and blue enamel it is a gift from His Majesty Nicholas II to his favorite. Engraved inscription reads: "Pavel Bure Supplier to His Majesty's Court".
The stamp inside the box reads: "Pavel Bure, St Petersburg, Nevsky Prospect #23.
Moscow, Bol'shaia Lubianka # 8 across Kuznetsky Most".
The watch is in good working condition with original red leather Imperial case. Very good condition, no dents, light gold patina in some spots.
