The kovsh made by Grigory Sbitnev, Moscow 1898-1908, enameled with a band of colorful stylized blossom on mottled blue ground set above triangular panels of stylized foliage on an opaque cream ground alternating with small pink blossoms on translucent green ground.
The panels separated by roundels of applied wire, the rim with cable border, the hook handle and oval foot with a border of blue beads.
Very minor restoration to enamel in the front.
