1895 - George Lavroff (Georgui Dimitrievitch Lavrov) is born in Siberia in Nazkmoï close to Enisseyske, April 18. 1912 - It follows the courses of painter D.I. Karatonov in Krasnoïarsk. 1915 - George Lavroff between with the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Tomsk. Parallel to its studies, it attends the classes of drawing and painting of the company of the Artists of Tomsk. 1917-1920 - Revolution of October - Lavroff fights in the rows of the 6th Regiment of the partisans of Azchipov. 1922 - G Lavroff carries out its first orders in Moscow. 1923-1926 - George Lavroff Leaves to Moscow where he becomes member of the Association of the Artists of Russia Révolutionnaire. It takes part then in exposures and contributes to projects of monuments (5th price for that of Sverdlovsk in Moscow in 1924 and gains that of Lénine with Poltava in 1925). 1927-1935 - G Lavroff is sent in France to perfect its artistic knowledge and to diffuse Soviet art near the his/her French communist comrades. This stay will be for its work the richest period. Whereas it continues in its workshop its career of portraitist started in Russia and from which it presents his personal works in the artistic shows, whose show of Independent and Show of Autumn, George Lavroff will produce at the same time the totality of works which will give him its notoriety in Occident, the sculptures Art-Déco animalières. These sculptures for ceramics and bronze the unit were produced (of which out of ceramics cracked) for orders of editors, of which Guillemard. 1935 - Return in Russia. 1940-1980 - Official artist, George Lavroff works mainly with monumental sculptures and busts of significant members of the Soviet mode. He takes part regularly in the exposures and artistic shows of the country. 1982 - An exposure is devoted to him to Moscow. 1984 - George Lavroff is named member of the Republic Socialists of the Soviet Federations of Russia. 1991 - Died.
